The Mind of a Struggling Writer

I have always had a love for writing. When I was in the third grade I won a Young Authors award for a short story I wrote for school. After that, the dream of being a writer was born.

I have lived in Louisville all my life. I have been blessed to travel and see not only other parts of this country but also other parts of the world.

I live with my wife and two dogs and teach history and English in the local public school system.

My life experiences have influenced my writing in many ways, that I hope you as readers will enjoy.

I write in several genres including historical fiction, thrillers, fantasy, and horror.

Resume Type Stuff

I am a graduate of the University of Louisville with a degree in History and Humanities. I received my Masters in Teaching from Spalding University and teach in history in the public school system.

Over the past several years, I have also begun freelance writing. This has allowed me to hone my writing skills and learn about subjects I may not be familiar with.

As an independent writer, I don’t make much money. If you would like to show support, consider buying me a coffee. You can donate using the link here.
