It’s been a while since I made an update. It has been a very busy and hectic school year, so I admit I have not done much writing. However, this weekend I coached my last tournament as an archery coach. I decided I was not having fun with it anymore, and it was also taking time away from the things I enjoy. I am transferring to a new school in the Fall, so it was the perfect time to step away. While a bit bittersweet, I know it is for the best.

As far as writing, I have been doing a lot of writing on Medium, with a few articles a month. I was also made an editor for the History Inquiry publication, which, luckily, is not too time-consuming and has generated a little more income. If you haven’t had a chance to read any of my articles, take a minute to have a look.

With my freed-up time, I look forward to focusing more on my writing. I have a few WIPs that I am working on fleshing out. I’ve also been working on submitting some short stories to some publications.

Now, for the news that I made this post about! I will have a new Ebook and paperback out soon. What the Dew Might Bring is currently in production through Draft2Digital.

Kaylee Farmer always loved exploring the woods. However, on one of her expeditions, she makes a fatal discovery. Now Everett Ogle must begin the hunt for her killers using some of his backwoods knowledge. Meanwhile, a mother must mourn the loss of her world, and a reluctant killer must deal with the consequences of his actions.

This story takes place in my home state of Kentucky. The detective grew up with family in the mountains of eastern Tennessee and the tradition of moonshining. This knowledge will aid him as he tracks down two men that are doing something else illegal in the woods.

I will post an update once the book is available for purchase. I hope you will give it a read!
